Nelson's Column - Trafalgar Square

Hey it’s my birthday and sadly only a few days left to go, it’s back up to London with Ash and Frankie in tow.

Over to Kings Cross to put the Lincoln gits on their train, bade them both farewell then back out into the rain.

A quick jaunt across London to see the house of the Queen, Buckingham Palace and its guards was a beautiful scene.

Up the Mall towards Admiralty Arch viewing buildings so grand, then Trafalgar Square, I couldn't quite get Nelsons Column in my hand.

Horse Guards Parade and a walk down passed Downing Street, from there the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben your eyes meet.

Just round the corner is the Royals church! Westminster Abbey, A grand place to tie the knot but are any of them happy?

With time pressing on we then braved the lively West End hub, it’s filled with people going to cinema’s theatres and pubs.

Then to Covent Garden and a much needed Italian meal, before setting off for my first ever theatre thrill.

“Blood Brothers” was the show Chris had picked for me to see, and to her horror the place was packed with every available Yankee.

With the show about to start and the yanks talking in a drone, "I said sorry but this is what our kids do in cinemas back home."

Shaking her head in disgust Chris said loudly “Oh heck, this is the damn British theatre now show some respect”

The show is brilliant as thought by all from every nation, it truly deserves its standing ovation.
